Our Story

Family, steel & second chances.

Growing up in Brooklyn, my father, Brooklyn Bobby gave me the car bug. He showed me how to change a motor and transmission in his 1962 Corvette when I was 10. I was hooked! Now my oldest son Cosmo is hooked with his first big project, a complete build of a ’67 Camaro with an LS engine swap.

The groundwork for Resurrection Trucks started in 1995 when I bought my dream car, a 1967 Corvette convertible. The car was a complete basket case when I got it. I took that Vette out of the garage that fell on top of it and restored it at age 25. That showed me I am capable of doing anything car related.

In 2012 I bought a 1952 Chevy 3100 with nice patina paint on the original chassis. I dropped a small block Chevy motor in it, but it rode and drove horribly. I then discovered S10 chassis swaps which rocked my world. Putting the beautiful old body on a newer truck’s chassis with power steering, power disc brakes, and modern control arms made the old trucks a dream to cruise.

Years of trial and error has resulted in my proven formula for building Chevy 3100s on S10 chassis. From manufacturing my own mounts to my secret patina recipe, I have built over 200 trucks that have reached 6 of the 7 continents around the world. Still waiting on Antarctica.

I love getting these old Chevy trucks back on the road and making them useable again. I have been so humbled by the positive response from clients and social media. Many people have shared their family story with me around one of these Chevy 3100s. These trucks are a piece of American history. They helped get this country back on its feet after WW2, allowing family farms and businesses to deliver goods.

We build comfortable drivers for the everyday family. You make memories cruising to get ice cream, or putting a blanket in the back and watching the fireworks. Everyone gives a thumbs up when they see a Resurrection Truck out driving.

In appreciation for their service and sacrifice for our country, Resurrection Trucks offers discounts for military personnel, veterans, first responders, and teachers.

I am so blessed to do what I love with my beautiful family.
